Sylvester books raise funds
Most of our patients have already met Sylvester – he is usually found lying in the sun in the Canterbury Charity Hospital’s waiting room or sitting at the front door until some kind person lets him in. Our lazy cat features in two children’s books written by local poet/friend of the hospital, Julie Hutton and featuring wonderful illustrations by Garrick Tremain.
Copies of both Sylvester books are currently $5 each (usually $7.50) and all the profits go directly to helping the Charity Hospital continue their work for the greater Canterbury community. The books can also be bought during office hours at the Charity Hospital, 349 – 353 Harewood Road, Bishopdale.
