The Canterbury Charity Hospital in Harewood Road is expanding to meet increased demand for its free day surgery for Cantabrians in need. The main recovery room at the back of the East wing will be increased in size to house nine bed so we can continue providing safe and comfortable services for patients and volunteer staff,. There will also be a new entranceway and improved toilet facilities at the front of the building.
The improvements will require fundraising of around $190,000 abd are being carried out by a team from Leighs Construction and Ian Krauss Architects and are expected to be completed by mid next year.
